Challenge 19: Black and White

Hi Girls!

This Saturday's challenge is: Black and White. For this challenge I decided to break out of my comfort zone. This means no stamping, no dotting and no stripes, but something freehand. While I was struggling with my nonexistent muse, I saw a plant in my mani-corner :-D. Bling!!! I will paint a black and white leaf :-)

The Polishes Challenge: 1. One color

Hi Girls,

Today we start a new challenge! It’s called The (Untried) Polishes Challenge. This challenge is different from the rest of the challenges from the nail community, because in this challenge the emphasis is on the polish not the manicure.
The purpose of this challenge is for everybody to get their unused (or rarely used) polishes out of the drawer, blow the dust off them and start making beautiful manicures.
I am happy to join it myself because in my stash of 180 polishes I certainly have some untried or almost forgotten ones :-).

This challenge was originally started by Just Add Polish. You can visit her blog here.

The first polish I will show you in this challenge is not 100% unused (I have used it once for making this manicure), but it has such a beautiful deep green color that I have to give it more attention.

Challenge 18: Inspired by a Pattern

Hi Girls!

I am in such a good mood today (don't ask why, I have no idea :-D).
It's Saturday and it's time for a new challenge. I have to confess that since last week this time I had no idea what my pattern will look like and for 2 hours my nails were "naked" and crying for a manicure :-)

We were supposed to get inspired by a pattern, so I took a look at my closet, trying to find a pattern through my clothes. This is when I realized  that I am stripes-crazy. I counted 35 T-shirts with stripes :-S.

Having no pattern to imitate, I decided to create my own pattern. I hope you like it and see the pattern in it :-).

Chaos & Crocodiles - Fallen Skystone

Hi Girls!

Almost a whole month has passed since I had celebrated my birthday. For this occasion I got a very special present: a small collection of indie polishes. Not just any polishes, Chaos & Crocodiles polishes. :-D You can imagine my surprise when I opened the box and saw no less than 7 bottles of the world's most beautiful polishes. Well, at least for me :) I had been craving for a long time to own the Fireside Nights by Chaos & Crocodiles but now I suddenly was the happy owner of it and six others :-D I've taken a group photo of them for you to see:

I've been told by the special person who gave me this present that Chaos & Crocodiles only ships polishes to the USA, so the fact that these polishes have managed to make their way to Romania is something of a little miracle. I'd like to thank Sarey from Chaos & Crocodiles for her support and for helping me get this wonderful present. She's been very nice and she packaged the polishes... well... with love :)

You can visit her handmade, 3-free and cruelty-free nail polish creations on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ChaosAndCrocodiles) or on her new website: http://www.chaosandcrocodiles.com/.

I find it hard to decide which one of these polishes I love most, so the one that I'm going to present today was chosen randomly. And the lucky winner is: Fallen Skystone!
