Gradient Upgrade

Remember: Whenever in doubt, apply glitter!©
This is what I have done with my last gradient manicure (see it here). I don't know if it looks like too much or not, but I personally LOVE it and I'd wear it any time.

The glitter topper I have used over my last manicure is Golden Rose Jolly Jewels - Nr. 120

Golden Rose's Jolly Jewel Nr. 120 is a collection of golden, red, pink and purple glitters of different shapes and sizes. For my manicure I have used only one coat.

Would you wear this manicure or you prefer the original gradient, without the extra glitter topper?

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels Nr. 120 is available online @ www.cosmania.ro

Gradient, Because One Polish Is Never Enough

Because one polish is never enough, for this manicure I have used 4 plus a top coat :-)

For this gradient manicure I have used the following polishes:

Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica

The Farmec polishes:

... and my favorite Ice Watch :-)

Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica

The polish I am showing you today is Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica. If you only look at it through the bottle, it looks like an ordinary silver polish which probably has a cheap look and leaves brush marks. As I usually do, I gave this one a chance to prove me wrong :-). And it did!

Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica (applied in 3 coats) + top coat

As I applied it, I was like "Wow!", this really does look like metal on my nails, but the moment I applied the top coat was the real WOOOW moment! All those little brush marks that were almost insignificant before disappeared and the shine became even more powerful.

I am using Astor's Pro Manicure quick dry top coat. It has the perfect name: Already dry! (Nr. 002 ).

In the next blog post you will see a gradient manicure, which has as a base color this silver polish.  Stay close!

KIKO Sun Show Combo

The summer is finally here! I was waiting for this moment because this when I planned to try out my KIKO Sun Show polishes :-)

I have chosen to combine Nr. 473 Precious Amethyst with Nr. 467 Quindim Gold. They are made for each other :-)

I have applied both polishes for this effect. The shine is the original one, I have used no top coat.

I was surprised to see that they are long lasting and persist for a long time on nails without taking any damage. They didn't chip off even without having a protective top coat over them, even after 3 days of sun bathing and several sauna sessions.

Just LOVE them!

BPS - Water Decals

In this post I am going to show you some water decals, that were sent to me by Born Pretty Store for a review.

For this manicure I have used:

The decals come on paper (as in the above picture) and you have to cut out the shapes that you want to apply onto your nails. The tiny cut out decals separate from the paper after you sink them in water.

After I have applied the decals I have applied also a top coat to make sure that the decals will stay on my nails.

Check out Born Pretty Store for some great nail art products. Using  the code VNL91 you will get 10% of from your order with FREE shipping worldwide ;-)

Trind Caring Color - Miss O'Hara CC203

Are you curious how the nail polish from the Rouge-Boutique can looks like? :-)

In my last post I have shown you the Nail Brightener that was in the can, today I am showing you the nail polish.

I have my ups and downs with girly colors, like red, pink, coral or lilac. There are times I can't stand to see pink or red on my nails and there are times I can't get enough of them. Right now I am in the Love it phase!

The polish is Trind Nail Lacquer Seasonal - Miss O'Hara CC203. You can find this collection here, but the are a "few" more nice shades over here.

For this manicure I have applied two coats of nail polish and I obtained the exact same color I saw in the bottle.

The thick and quick drying formula is a pro for this polish. The fact that it has a simple straight brush was kind of a disappointment to me. Although it's a white and soft brush, not that traditional straight and black one, it's not the same experience as applying with a maxi, rounded brush.

All in one, a big like for this polish. If you like, you can buy directly from here. It costs 40 RON + shipping. That's almost as much as an OPI.

Naked and Not Ashamed

Do you remember the big mysterious red box I got as a Christmas present from Rouge-Boutique? I certainly did not forget it! If you had forgotten, you can find my first post about it here. As I have shown at the beginning of the year, my nails have changed drastically since I began using Trind Cosmetics Products, even after only two weeks. If you can't believe it, see the evolution here. I have used Nail Balsam and Nail Repair simultaneously, daily, for two weeks in a row.

After I used up all  my Nail Balsam I was really sad, because the online shop was not active yet. So I waited and waited, and a couple of days ago a mysterious red can has been shipped to me. I had the feeling that it was because the shop went online and ... I was right!!!!! Finally!

I really recommend you to try Trind Cosmetics products. Visit the online shop by clicking here and choose between nail care products, nail treatments, nail polishes and accessories. The moment I saw it's open I ordered a new bottle of Nail Balsam. It's not the cheapest nail hardener out there (55 RON + shipping for a 9 ml bottle)  but it's certainly wort it!

But what was inside the mysterious red can?

It was a Nail Brightener and a nail polish :-) Today I will show you  just what a big difference can the Nail Brightener make.

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first, because it has a strange purplish color, like some of the UV top coats. (The manufacturer recommends it to be used over Nail Repair or Nail Matt for an amazing affect and strong nails, but I only read these lines after I have applied it). Although I wasn't that excited about it, I gave it the benefit of a doubt :-)

This is how my nails look when they are naked, after I remove my nail polish:

And this is how they look after the Nail Brightener is applied:

As I presumed, the strange color persist, but it isn't that annoying
I got used to it and people surprisingly noticed, that my nails looks good :-)

The Nail Brightener is available online, here and it costs 63 RON + shipping.

Next time I will be using it over Nail Repair. Nail Repair has a light creamy white color and the light purplish Nail Brightener will surely look nice on top of it.
