Farmec Collection - It's Freezing Out There With Neon Studs

And now, as promised, yesterday's manicure tuned up. For the tune-up I have used some neon studs that I once got from Born Pretty Store for a review.

Ingerdients for this manicure:
  • Farmec Collection - It's freezing out there
  • Nail Studs from Born Pretty Store. It's item Nr. 12408 and you can find it here

The wheal contains 2-3 mm nail studs in the form of dots, large squares, small squares and leafs. Every wheal contains 3 colors. For this manicure I have chosen the small neon green ones.

Essie - Full Steam Ahead

Although it's the end of September, we had a lovely weather this weekend. I took advantage of it and planted some tulips that will hopefully bloom in the spring. I have ordered the bulbs online, from here. It's a really cute site, and you don't have to worry about planting at the right time, because they will only deliver your order when the time is right :-)

Today's manicure is not a typical autumn manicure, but the tulips and the lovely weather did not let me use other colors :-)

For this manicure I have used:
  • Essie - Full Steam Ahead, a timid lilac shade with tiny little silver shining particles,  from the 2013 Summer Collection
  • Green and blue neon nail studs from Born Pretty Store. Item Nr.12408 , available here

After the first two coats of the Essie polish have dried, I have applied a third coat in which I have immediately placed the studs. After drying I have added a top coat to make sure that I won't lose the studs.

Gilbert was of course also present. He found the polish in the grass and decided that it belongs to him :-)

One more quick look at him :-)

BPS - Neon Nail Studs

Today's post is a special anniversary post with number 300 on www.nailglaze.com!

When the colored nail studs started to appear, I wondered how the bloggers had so much patience to paint each and every stud... I am not joking, but some serious time went by until I realized that those were in fact colored studs!

Today I am going to show you a manicure made with neon colored studs. They have been sent to me by Born Pretty Store for a review.

For this manicure I have used:
  • Golden Rose with protein - Nr. 336. I have brought it from www.cosmania.com. But it's an older Collection that's not available anymore in Romania. If you find polishes from this Collection, don't hesitate to buy them because they have an excellent formula. They are long lasting and have a great and saturated colors.
  • Nail Studs from Born Pretty Store. It's item Nr. 12408 and you can find it here.

The wheal contains 2-3 mm nail studs in the form of dots, large squares, small squares and leafs. Every wheal contains 3 colors. I have chosen pink, neon green and blue, but Born Pretty Store offers 4 different color combinations. I am sure you will find the one that suits your needs best :-)

For this manicure I have used the dots and the small squares. I think they look nice in this combination :-)

What I really like about these nail studs is that they are only 2-3 mm wide and they stick well to your nails. I have tried bigger studs too, but they just won't follow the natural curvature of my nails and would fall off easily. It's not the case with these, though :-)

Check out Born Pretty Store for some great nail art products. Using  the code VNL91 you will get 10% of from your order with FREE shipping worldwide ;-)

I Love Hean - Nr. 807 (pink)

At the beginning of the month I have shown you I Love Hean - Nr. 810, a really amazing blue polish. You can view it here. Today I am going to show you another polish from I Love Hean. It's nr. 807 and I got it from Magiq for a review.

I find the name of this polish so cute, I had to apply some hearts on my nails to match it :-). The heart studs were sent by Born Pretty Store. You will find the here, item ID: 4993. Other manicures with these studs are this and this.

I Love Hean - Nr. 807

Just the color and a top coat:

With the hearts studs:

I think of this polish as the little sister of Nr. 810 :-). It has a similar shimmer like Nr. 810. As the sun shines directly ot it, you will see a nice purple shimmer appear on the surface of your nails.

Wear pink and have a nice day!

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 7. Inspired by Celebrity Nails

Hi Girls!

I had big plans with this manicure, wanted to do something amazing and started google-ing celebrity nails and manicures and ... I found nothing helpful. Nothing interesting to get inspired by :-(

Products I have used:
  • MIYO - Nr. 28 Grape
  • Brooklin - Nr. F2 (this is in fact a neon pink polish but I couldn't capture the real color)
  • Nail Studs
My "inspiration" was this picture:

The Techniques Challenge - #8 Velvet Nails

Hi Girls!

Today's challenge is Velvet Nails and I have to confess, that I have been waiting for this post for month now!
I have bought my velvet from a local store (approx. 3 RON, that is less then 1 EUR) and I have chosen blue :-).

Products I have used:
  • Farmec - Pool Party
  • Farmec Collection - Nr. 200 ((clear polish, to stick the velvet to the nails). I have tried with a top coat too, but it dried before I managed to appy the velvet, so I needed something that dries ... well, slowly.
  • Noname velvet from a local store
  • Born Pretty Store Nail Studs

I like it how the Farmec polish has almost the same color as the velvet.

The next challenge will be One Stroke and will be posted on the 7th of October, 2013.
