Challenge 14: Delicate Print

Hi Girls!

The theme for today's challenge is: Delicate Print.
This was a horrible challenge for me. I don't own any Konad plates, I had no idea what delicate print to make, so I took a powerful pink polish and added some delicate dots :-P
I hope I didn't disappoint you! Meanwhile I have placed an order for some Konad plates. I can't wait to put my hands on them :-D

Products I have used:
  • Moyra - Nr. 56 (pink)
  • Acrylic paint for the dots
  • Dotting tool

Manicure fail

As I brought the L'Oreal nail polish (nr. 608 Luxembourg Garden) I imagined myself a nice manicure, but finally I ended up with this:

L'Oreal - nr. 608 Luxembourg Garden (base, 2 coats)

Flormar Graffiti - Nr. G05 Yellow (crackle)

Moyra - Top Coat Fast Dry  (1 coat)

This is the second time I used the Flormar Yellor Crackle polish and I am very disappointed. Not because of the formula (that works great) but because of the color. It is...unwearable from my point of view. What color would you associate a yellow crackle with?

Stripe mani

As I started this manicure I imagined something completely different, but I like this result too.

First I applied a neon pink as a base:

Natty Orkide - Nr. 445

After that I applied a more neon pink on the right side of the nail:

Moyra - Nr. 56

Third, I applied a more dark red/pink on the left side of the nail:

Flormar Supermatte - Nr. M104

And the result:

As I earlier said, this started as a different mani, this is why the lines aren't straight. I haven't used any tape, everything is done free handed.

Saturated Moyra (second favorite)

It has been a long time since I last brought some nail polish. To end this "sad"  period I brought a saturated mauve-pink Moyra (Nr. 56), Radiant Professional Nr. 178 and 3 other polishes which will follow in separate posts.

I have to say, that this Moyra is my second favorite polish shade (the first being Rimmel-Urban princess. You can see it here and here).

Moyra - Nr. 56

Radiant Professional - Nr. 178

The Radial polish, the one that I used as a top coat looks really nice on the nails. The only problem is that it dries veeery slow. It's annoying.

Green Cloud

I could not accept the fact, that I cannot make a real cloud manicure.
So... I tried again. The result:

Avon - Green With Envy + China Glaze - Icicle

Moyra - Nr. 71

New Nr.1 - Moyra

I found a new nail polish shop in the city and I could not resist buying some new shades. The first of the 3 new nail polishes that I brought is a green Moyra. I was always reluctant about this brand... It is a Hungarian polish and it costs 5 RON (1.7 USD, 1.2 EUR). Although it is very cheap, it is of great quality. It dries very quickly and if you are in a hurry, applying one coat will do just fine. I totally recommend this polish. The following  pictures were taken after 3 days of wearing and the polish shows no sign of chipping.
