Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica

The polish I am showing you today is Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica. If you only look at it through the bottle, it looks like an ordinary silver polish which probably has a cheap look and leaves brush marks. As I usually do, I gave this one a chance to prove me wrong :-). And it did!

Wet 'n Wild Shine - Metallica (applied in 3 coats) + top coat

As I applied it, I was like "Wow!", this really does look like metal on my nails, but the moment I applied the top coat was the real WOOOW moment! All those little brush marks that were almost insignificant before disappeared and the shine became even more powerful.

I am using Astor's Pro Manicure quick dry top coat. It has the perfect name: Already dry! (Nr. 002 ).

In the next blog post you will see a gradient manicure, which has as a base color this silver polish.  Stay close!

Challenge 29: Water Marbled

Hi Girls!

Take a good look at today's manicure, because it's the first and possibly the last time you see a water marble design made by myself.
I just hate this technique. It's so messy and time consuming and polish consuming and ...  so on :-P

Madalina from Miss Happy and Her Nails has suggested that I could try a dry water marble (tutorial here) and this is what I have done.

Products I have used:
  • Natty - Nr. 372
  • Natty - Nr. 445
  • Rimmel - Nr. 58 Lemon Drop

New Nr.1 - Moyra

I found a new nail polish shop in the city and I could not resist buying some new shades. The first of the 3 new nail polishes that I brought is a green Moyra. I was always reluctant about this brand... It is a Hungarian polish and it costs 5 RON (1.7 USD, 1.2 EUR). Although it is very cheap, it is of great quality. It dries very quickly and if you are in a hurry, applying one coat will do just fine. I totally recommend this polish. The following  pictures were taken after 3 days of wearing and the polish shows no sign of chipping.
