FingerFood's Theme Buffet: #3 Weather

At first I didn't know what manicure I could possibly do for this theme, but then I remembered that I haven't done a cloud manicure for a while now.

I have chosen 3 shades of blue polish and this is what came out of them:

For this manicure I have used:
  • OPI - I saw ... U saw ... We saw ... Warsaw (from the Euro Centrale Collection)
  • Gabrini - Nr. C06
  • Essence Snow Jam - Goofy-Blue
  • Nubar - White Polka Dot. I have applied one coat of this beautiful polish because it reminds me of stars and snow :-)
Let's have a closer look at my Weather inspired manicure:

This manicure reminds me either of  starry night or snowing :-)

The next theme will be Sparkle! and will be posted on the 26th of January, 2014.
Let's see the other entries too:

NOTD - Blue nails with glitter topper

Hi dear Reader!

For this manicure I have used one of my favorite blue polishes, from the new OPI Collection, the Euro Centrale. The polish I am speaking about is I Saw... U Saw... We Saw... Warsaw. Beside the color I especially like the name! It's the main reason I have brought it... The love for the color came afterwards :-D.

Products I have used:
  • OPI - I Saw... U Saw... We Saw... Warsaw
  • NYC - Nr. 105 Lights-Camera Glitter

OPI Euro Centrale (The Polka Buff)

Hi Girls!

For today's manicure I have used the new OPI polishes, from the Euro Centrale 2013 Spring Collection. I could not decide which one is my favorite so I ended buying 3 from this collection:

From left to right, my beauties:
  • I Saw… U Saw… We Saw… Warsaw (dark blue)
  • My Vampire is Buff (creamy, nude)
  • Polka.com (light blue and pink glitters) --> it's such a perfect mach, it is easy to mistake it for an indie :-)

Challenge 12: Inspired by a book

Hi Girls!

Inspired by a book was one of the most complicated challenges for me. Days passed and I had no idea what manicure I would present today.

To solve this problem I used Occam's Razor. Wikipedia's definition sounds like this:  "Occam's Razor states that among competing hypotheses, the one that makes the fewest assumptions should be selected". My definition is more simple: the easiest solution is the best one.

I asked myself: "Which is your all time favorite book?". And the answer was: "The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco".

This novel is a historical murder mystery which takes place in 1327, in an Italian monastery, but I preferred to draw only the "title" of the book, not it's story :-).

Products I have used:
  • OPI - My Vampire is Buff (from the Euro Centrale Collection)
  • Acrylic paints
