There has been a while since I had brought my first Golden Rose Jolly Jewel polishes but I never got the chance (until now :-) ) to show them to you.
Today I will present you Nr. 112. This is a combination of gold and light lilac glitters.

Today is the last day of the first edition of The Tri-Polish Challenge. The colors of March were: coral, green and purple.

This is the manicure for which I have used all there polishes at the same time! 

2 Years Anniversary and Short Story

My dear readers,

this is a very special day for me. My blog turns 2 years old today! :-)

As you know, I have decided to organize my first giveaway for this occasion. The happy winner is Daniela Zaharia. Congatulations! 

I would like to share with you the short story of my little blog, which I am so proud of. 

On the 27th of March, 2011 I bought an orange nail polish from Auchan, during a launch break. I went home, painted my nails and and I saw that they looked really nice. I couldn't resist taking a photo while I was holding Tiger, Winnie The Pooh's friend. The days passed and I was so proud of that photo (I even printed it out), I wanted to show it to the whole world! This is when the idea of a blog popped into my mind!

At first the blog was called: Lililala's Photo Nail Blog (maybe some of you still remember it as such). My plan was to post mostly photos (my English wasn't that good at the time).

Maybelline New York - Nr. 460 Orange Couture

At the beginning I was posting only NOTDs (of course, at the time I had no idea that they were in fact NOTDs). I had no idea what is a blogroll, GFC, Labels and much more. :-) I just posted my daily manicure.

Time had passed and during my first year I had posted 46 manicures/NOTDs. 

In 2012 I got promoted, life started to accelerate and Lililala's Photo Nail Blog was left behind. There had been only 29 posted manicures, none in September, October and November. (I am so ashamed of this fact).

Then in January 2013 something happened. I realized that I am still in love with nail polishes (more than ever, my stash grew from 20 to 150 polishes). In January 2013 I bought my own domain name, started to redesign my blog, joined several groups on Facebook and participated in several challenges.

I owe special thanks to the members of Girls Online who supported me and accepted me in their collective. I started to grow the moment I joined you!

Today I have 127  followers, 119 published posts (including this one :-) ), around 28.000 views and a mind full of potential manicures!

The Tri-Polish Challenge - Manicure 3

Hi Girls!

It's time for the third manicure from The Tri-Polish Challange. You can find the first two manicures here and here.

This time I have used the green and the coral polishes and made a cloud manicure. Yes know, this doesn't look like a coral polish. I haven't applied it directly on the white polish, but on top of the green one. This is why it looks darker than in the previous manicures.

Hi Girls!

Today I am back with the second manicure from The Tri-Polish Challenge. The first manicure is available here.
As you may already know, we are supposed to use the same 3 polishes during the challenge. The shades were chosen by Smashley Sparkles and they are: coral, green and purple.

This time I have used the green and purple polishes which I have spiced up with some white polka dots. :-)

I have painted my nails green, on top of the green base coat I have applied white polka dots and on top of some white dots I have applied purple dots.

Challenge 7: Yellow Nails

Hi Girls!

Today is Saturday and it's time for the most controversial challenge of the 31 Weeks Challenge I am participating in: Yellow Nails. 

I personally love this color and wear it on my nails without any problems. In my collection I have 4 regular polishes and one cracking polish.

My nails were ready on Sunday and I had to fight myself not to post it earlier :-)

NOTD - Another Acrylic Manicure

I think I am in love with my acrylic paints and especially with the viridian green shade! This is my new creation. I hope you like it too :-)

Valentine’s Day Challenge

I am participating in the Valentine’s Day Challenge organized by Miu Miu, Mirela and Anca.

Manicure with Acrylic Paint

I have been playing around with my newest toys: acrylic paints. They are easy to apply and I find them perfect if you want to paint something more complex on your nails. They are easier to use than nail polish and dry really fast.

My favorite shades are:

• Cobalt blue
• Viridian Green
• White

 I applied these colors directly on the base coat. I absolutely love the result.

Challenge 6: Inspired by a SONG

Hi Girls!

I just can't believe that today is Saturday... again! I was waiting for this challenge for a long time. I've known what my song inspired manicure will look like ever since the moment I had started the 31 Days/Weeks Challenge collaboration :-D

I was inspired by Alicia Keys' song: Girl On Fire. I have first heard this song on my favorite radio station: Slow Radio.

Today, at the office, we had an official visit from our German Headquarters so I decided to wear some light nail polish and blend in :-).
