Manicure with Acrylic Paint

I have been playing around with my newest toys: acrylic paints. They are easy to apply and I find them perfect if you want to paint something more complex on your nails. They are easier to use than nail polish and dry really fast.

My favorite shades are:

  • Cobalt blue
  • Viridian Green
  • White

I applied these colors directly on the base coat. I absolutely love the result.

Challenge 6: Inspired by a SONG

Hi Girls!

I just can't believe that today is Saturday... again! I was waiting for this challenge for a long time. I've known what my song inspired manicure will look like ever since the moment I had started the 31 Days/Weeks Challenge collaboration :-D

I was inspired by Alicia Keys' song: Girl On Fire. I have first heard this song on my favorite radio station: Slow Radio.

Products I have used:
  • Flormar Supermatte - Nr. M103 (white base color)
  • Acrilic paints (red, carmin, yellow, white, black)

Anniversary Post: 100th Posted Manicure!

Today is a sort of anniversary for my blog. The time has come to present to you my 100th posted manicure.

As you remember, I have started a poll in which you had the opportunity to choose what kind of nails you wanted to see in this special post (tape manicure, polka dots, gradient, glitter or stripes).

According to your votes the winner is The Gradient. I have decided to create a special lemon-lime combination for you. Thank you all for taking the time to vote and I hope that the result rises to your expectations.

NOTD - French with Essence Stickers

Today, at the office, we had an official visit from our German Headquarters so I decided to wear some light nail polish and blend in :-).

Products I have used:
  • Brooklin French Manicure  Nr. 4
  • Essence Nail Stickers
  • Astor Top Coat

Flormar Nr. 429 with Nail Tape Stripes

The time has come to present one of my favorite shades: Flormar Nr. 429.
I have used this polish in an another post too. You can visit the manicure here.

Products I have used:
  • 2 coats of Flormar Nr. 429
  • 2 blue nail tape strips for every nail (they give an extravagant look to your nails but without a top coat they won't last long on the nails)

NOTD - China Glaze: Whirled Away

Today I am wearing one of my dream polishes: China Glaze - Whirled Away :-).
As base color I have used Rimmel Lycra - Nr. 291 Urban Princess.

This polish has the same "problem" as the rest of Cirque Du Soleil Collection: without applying a top coat, the glitters will come off the nail. Besides this, I like the black and white effect you get.

Rimmel Metal Rush - Royal Blue

This is a polish I have had for some time on my wish list. The first time I have seen Rimmel Metal Rush was at Douglas and had cost 40 Ron (9 Euro). Back then I decided that it was too much for me. Later I found this polish at different drug stores but the price was still high. All this until one day when I was shopping in Auchan and I saw it for 13 Ron (approx. 3 Eur). That moment I knew I had to buy it!

Rimmel Metal Rush - Nr. 60 Royal Blue

I am glad that I did, because it's a beautiful polish. A great combination of violet and an interesting blueish green shade.

Challenge 5: Stripes

Today is Saturday again and this means: Challenge Time!
This Weeks Challenge was: Stripes. I found this challenge a bit awkward and unfortunately this is all I could come up with:

Products I have used:
  • Brooklin - Nr. BRKF2 Neon Pink (brought from Lady's, online)
  • Flormar Nail Art - NA12
