Flower Wednesday - Week 4

Hi Girls!

I'm sorry for being late with the last Flower Wednesday manicure!

For this manicure I have used a really old polish I brought for at least 2 years :-) .

Challenge 9: Inspired by a Movie

Hi Girls!

First of all it's Saturday again... finally!
Second of all it's time for a new challenge! Oh, yeah!
This is a scheduled post because I'm out of the country in this weekend, I hope it really works...
As always, I can't wait to see your manicures :-).

Although this challenge is supposed to be inspired from a movie, my source of inspiration was a TV series: The Mentalist (let's not let this minor detail get in the way). The Mentalist is my favorite TV series at the moment because the story is great and the main character is charming. But here comes the really interesting and yet terrifying drawing which is at the heart of the movie and which has inspired this manicure: The Red John Face.

Products I have used:

• Flormar Supermatte - Nr. M103 (white base. It seems to me that I used this white polish more and more :-) )
• Red acrylic paint

Challenge 3: Inspired by a Color

For the 3rd Challenge I was inspired by Shrek. I am sure you are all thinking at the same color I did :-).

For this manicure I have used:

• Rimmel 60 Seconds Nr. 460 Limealicious
• Flormar Nail Art Nr. NA01 (white liner)
• Flormar Nail Art Nr. NA12 (black liner)  

Challenge 2: Polka Dots

I have been working on this manicure (including the processing of the pictures) for 2 hours! I don't have much experience with polka dots and therefor it was a challenge to come up with a good combination of colors and dots.

What I have used:

• Base coat - Farmec
• Base color in 2 coats - Golden Rose Nr. 110
• Polka dots - Flormar Nail Art Nr. NA12
• Top coat -  OPI
• Home made dotting tool

I was inspired by a see snail I brought last summer in Greece.
