Jord Wood Watch & KIKO

A little time ago I was contacted by Paul from JORD Wood Watches, and he gave me the chance to try one of the unique JORD Watches. These watches are special because they are made of a variety of wood. This not only makes them special and rare but also light and stylish.

I was able to pick a watch for review from the several interesting models the company offers in the following series:  Core series, Fieldcrest series, Ely series, Sully series and the limited edition Pujols Foundation series. You can take a look at all the watches JORD has to offer, by clicking here.

Happy Easter!

I wanted something special for Easter, so I came up with this stamping manicure (I'm in love with it!)

For this manicure I have used:
  • Sweet Color - Nr. 005. Item Nr. 15727, that you find here
  • Konad Stamping polish, black
  • Golden Rose Nail Art - Nr. 101
  • Born Pretty Store stamping plate, available here. Item nr. 17928.

At first I stamped with the black polish and after it dried I decorated the flower with a white nail art polish.

Let's Stamp!

After a long pause I am trying to get back to blogging and manicuring with a stamping manicure:

For this manicure I have used:
  • Golden Rose Selective - Nr. 41 Atomic Green
  • Black Konad stamping polish
  • No-name stamping plate

The Golden Rose Selective polish has a really nice texture, it covers really well (2 coats or 1 thicker coat will do it) and it has a really nice shine.

I have decided to buy some original stamping polishes, because I grew tired of images that do not transfer from the stamper of images which are almost visible on the nail.
I have bought a black, white and red Konad Stamping polish for testing and if they turns out to be what I need, I will get more :-).
So far it looks like my Konad stash will grow!!!

BPS - White Stamping

Remember that last polish I have shown you? Sweet Color Polish nr. 005, from Born Pretty Store?
Well today I have stamped over it with a white stamping polish, also from Born Pretty Store.

For this manicure I have used:
  •  Sweet Color - Nr. 005. Item Nr. 15727, that you find here
  • White Stamping Polish, Item Nr. 1381, that you find here. For only 3.41 $ you will get a white and a black stamping polish.
  • No name stamping plate

This is the White Stamping Polish I have used. Although on other bloggers pictures it looks more pigmented, I only got this light stamped image.I will use it on other occasions too and see what I get from it.

Check out Born Pretty Store for some great nail art products. Using  the code VNL91 you will get 10% of from your order, with FREE shipping worldwide ;-)

I took advantage of the Black Friday sale and ordered THIS set of images plates (Item Nr. 17928)! I can't wait to try them!

FingerFood's Theme Buffet: #7 Abstract

This manicure should have been ready 6 days ago ... Sorry for being this late with it.
I had a massive lack of inspiration last week (my mother even "warned" me, that if I plan to get rid of my polishes she has her eyes set on some of them). In the end I have purchased 6 new polishes a few days ago and I am back on track!

For the abstract theme I have chosen one of the new shades and a stamping plate:

For this manicure I have used:
  • Golden Rose Rich Color - Nr. 18
  • Konad Special Nail Polish - White
  • Konad Image Plate - Nr. m95

The next theme will be Cute and will be posted ... tomorrow :-).

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 6. Inspired by Tattoos

Hi Girls!

I am back with a new manicure from The Polish Addict Group Challenge: Inspired by Tattoos.

Products I have used:
  • Miyo Nailed it! - Nr. 28. This is my newest acquisition and I already love it. I have used it in two coats and it dried fast. I am sensitive to this characteristic of a polish :-).  You find the polish at www.magiq.ro
  • Flormar True Color - Nr. 027
  • Konad image plate - Nr. m77
  • Born Pretty Store - Black stamping polish
I am not that into tattoos, so my manicure is practically a stamped image. If it were to make myself a tattoo, I could imagine the leafs from the manicure on my shoulder.

I love how this manicure turned out. I find the black - mint combination fabulous! And those dots... Sorry for being so "modest" but I really really like my nails today :-)

The next challenge will be Inspired by Celebrity Nails and will be posted on the 12th of October, 2013.

Let's check out the other manicures too:
